BIM Consultancy for the New Construction of Herten-Mitte Station

Advising the Client's Project Management on the Application of BIM Methodology

DB Station & Service AG has been commissioned to construct the new Herten station. This project includes the construction of two new side platforms, along with their barrier-free access and facilities.

As a subsidiary of ZPP Ingenieure AG, SD Engineering provided consultancy to the project management on the client side, advising on the application of BIM methodology from the start of the tender process through all project phases. The consultancy services included assisting in the development of Employer's Information Requirements (EIR), leading BIM kick-off meetings, and conducting both geometric and semantic checks of BIM models.
